Words really resonate with me. Perhaps I got it from my Dad, who also finds solace in writing. I should let my Dad know how appreciative I am of the huge Oxford English Dictionary he bought me when I was 7. That started me on a journey filled with countless new words!
literature in school, especially Paper 7, which is an exploration of various literary forms, got me even more sensitive to words. Sometimes, I have had to remind myself that I need to be less sensitive, because the other party does not mean it as I may interpret it.
Words. Significance is based on interpretation. A healing balm, or a toxic burn.
