Thirst-Day #4: Insights

Probably the teacher/mentor/trainer in me. This deep hunger for insights, illuminations, especially from the seemingly insignificant things, the everyday things. This principle from a Master Trainer: teach truths from familiar, retention is much better, impact is greater, insights is deeper.

The Master Trainer introduced deep & essential nuggets of truth, through various everyday objects, situations & even people. Parables. He masterfully tells a story, brings to attention an everyday occurrence to an attentive audience. Plants a question or two. Pause to encourage processing of what has been heard. Then homes in the lesson.

I love & desire to see things beyond it’s surface, beyond what the naked eye is seeing. To have the insider understanding of the heart odd of the Master Trainer, of what He desires to illuminate for my heart’s eyes during those teachable moments.
